Sometimes I wish people don’t categorize SERVAMP as “shoujo” because people might think it’s a genre instead of a demographic (and yes, they can have very different meaning). :-/
Even Comic Gene (as per their own description) categorizes their magazine as “shōnen manga for female audience” that will “subvert the preconceptions of shōnen and shōjo magazines”, so it’s something that can be read and enjoyed by both females and males.
I mean….. why do people have to emphasize that it’s shōjo anyway? Isn’t there any other aspect of the series that can be used as a description? I never heard some sports anime categorized as shōjo even when the fanservice level for females is higher than this series. .__.
Not trying to stir anything or pick a fight, just my personal opinion.
And here I thought I was the only one.
Lol, I was also thinking about Vampire Knight when I heard the word “vampire shoujo”. XD I just hope people don’t think that SERVAMP is something like….. Twilight. 😱
